Don’t domes leak?
It would be accurate to say “roofs leaks”. You can get
any roof to leak, if you don’t know how to roof it. We
know how and show you and your roofer the right way.

What are some benefits

How long
does take to build your geodesic dome home?
Once the foundation is in, the geodesic dome shell kit
can be up in a long weekend…then the skylights, flashing
and roofing. Total time to enclosure depends on labor and
could be done in a month.
Generally, construction loans are for 9 months but most
projects are finished well within this time.

Do you ventilate your roof system as required by the
Uniform
Building Code (UBC)?
Yes! For an
explanation of this we have included page
7 and 8 of the All About Domes catalog. These cover
ventilation of the wall cavity and the importance of
condensation control.

What do you
mean by High, Low and Mid Profile?
As the Dome is a section of the sphere:
Low Profile = 3/8's,
Mid Profile = 4/8's and
High Profile = 5/8's of the sphere.

Why do you have such thick walls in your domes?
Our 12" to 21" thick Super-Wal dome shell allows for
more insulation at less cost than any other structure
around.

Are your geodesic dome kits in stock for purchase?
All of our kits are custom made for our clients. Our
Building Sequence list shows the order of events in
the project. It’s best to order your kit and skylights
a minimum of 8 weeks prior to ‘dome erection’ day.
