Dome Frequency
The dome geometry is based on the pentagons and as the dome increases in size, the pents get farther apart. The "geodesic" literally means "earth-dividing". The rings that make up the dome would go all around the sphere and return to the start except at the pents. This is the only place where the struts are in a straight line. Count the number of struts connecting the pentagon centers and you have the frequency number (i.e. 3, 4, 5 frequency).
