Geodesic Dome Kits

We Sell Two Kinds of Geodesic Dome Kits:
 The Super-Wal Dome Complete Pre-Cut Shell Kit
The Super-Wal  Pre-Cut Shell Framing Kit

 Other Options:

Super-lok* Dome Hardware Connector Kits (Standard Hardware)
Ultra-lok*  Dome Hardware Connector Kits (High Wind/Snow Loading)

Our dome shell kits are constructed using the Super-Wal system of
Natural Spaces Domes, Inc.  The standard wall thickness is 15 inches!
This is for 12” of insulation + room for air flow about the insulation to
ventilate the shell. A Construction Manual with detailed instructions for a Contractor/DIYer is included with all kits including the geodesic dome
connector hardware kit.

The Super-Wal Dome Complete Pre-Cut Shell Kit:
                                                    

bullet Super-Lok dome connection hardware - hubs, plated steel sleeves, plated bolts, nuts and pins.  Sleeves are attached to struts.                 
bullet wpe13D.jpg (31809 bytes)Risers - standard heights for high profile are 28 1/2", for low profile 45".  Five riser walls come pre-assembled. The other risers (if needed) come with pre-assembled corner riser struts and pre-cut intermediate studs and plates.)  3/4" plywood is used on all risers.
bullet wpe141.jpg (30883 bytes)Struts - 12" to 21" thick Super-Wal double strut with metal sleeves attached to select structural grade Doug Fir/Larch 2”x8”. Inner 2x4 strut is attached to exterior 2x8 with three 3/4" thick 8" wide plywood gussets.  2x8 exterior struts are pre-notched for ventilation.   
bullet wpe147.jpg (30752 bytes)Exterior Triangles Panels - 3/4" plywood pre-cut triangles are 2-piece.  Joint between 2 pieces is tongue and grooved.
bulletVenting System - Lower base vent drip edge is enameled aluminum.  Top vent cupola has complete pentagonal frame pre-assembled with 3/4" plywood sheathing pre-cut.  Includes aluminum drip edge, combination fascia/soffit vent and aluminum base flashing between top vent cupola and shingle edge.
bulletConstruction Manual includes complete installation instructions drawings and DVD for assembling shell kit.  Engineering certification of dome shell included.

Owner-Builder Tool Package
We want to make sure you have the right tools for building our dome system.  As part of your geodesic dome shell kit, we provide:  Two 22 oz. hammers, two hammer holders, plastic chalk box w/chalk, two 30' tape measures, framing square, knee pads, 48" level and box wrench.

Plus: Our premium fastener/nail package (see Price List page 12), Plastic Plan Cover, 2 T-Shirts.

All structural shell items are color-coded or labeled for ease of assembly instruction.


The Super-Wal Dome Pre-cut Shell Framing Kit

The pre-cut dome shell framing kits include everything in the Complete Pre-Cut Shell Kit as mentioned above except the exterior plywood triangles.
